The pad meets every spill, so it is the first thing to look tired. A fresh one costs a fraction of a new seat and takes two minutes to fit.
Quilted peach skin fabric with a mesh panel down the middle, which is the part that keeps a back from getting hot. It comes out in one piece for the machine.
One parent bought it for a premature baby who needed more support than the bare sling gave, and wrote that it worked. Their review is below, including the thing it lacks.

I bought the HKAI bouncer but I have a preemie so I wanted more support. I’m glad I bought this insert, it works well! There is a velcro spot for a headrest but this insert doesn’t come with one and I don’t see one available to purchase, at least not from the same brand, which I find odd. There is one picture showing a headrest but nope.
